12 Apr 2009 18:54 - 12 Apr 2009 18:56but some of us older folks
I wouldn't worry about the age thing. You haven't been around here that long and you are still a young pup compared to a few we have around here...ahem...plummen...ahem...did I type that out loud...Just keep on posting and pictures and such. I was at a race last year and was talking to a guy racing a KZ650 that was 67. He was having a blast. My kind of guy!!! I'm just worring about getting as old as Plummen is...damn...did I say that out loud again? :laugh:

Here is the other pipe i got. its just your basic Yosh.
unfortunitly my camera doesnt seem to be providing enough light.
It measures 30" x 1.35"id /1.5"od for all primaries.
collector = 2 9/16" id (2.75"od) x 30" long.
it has a 1 1/8" baffle hole. the bafle seems to be a mechanical 1 with an offset pipe designe. i cant get it out as yet.

OK , to answer more questions about the Bassani pipe.
It did NOT come with an end cap,
But a 1 piece baffle/cap like a two stroke pipe.
All just stamped sheet metal (very thin)that you wrapped with packing.
It did NOT last very long riding on the street.
What I have in it now is a Volvo glass pack , the right size and length TIG welded to the end cap piece.
Then slipped into the can.
Then I took a big socket, maybe 1.1/8 or 1/4 and a long extension and drove it through to close up the louvers some.
I know , sounds lame , but it kept me on the road.
And for riding on the street ,I think it helped the mid range A bunch.

Great stuff.
Thanks for adding to our post.
I wonder if the 750r pipe would fit the kz1000's? Since the 1000 has a longer stroke, it may be too short??
Where did u see the Sito pipe?
