one good thing is i know myself, along with a lot of other members have everything you need to help you rebuild her so you don't have to search e-bay forever.
i'm almost sure i have a crank i can let you have.
i know i have cases.
sounds like a good time to go to www.kzzone.com
and buy a 700cc kit.
if you have to do it anyway, might as well go bigger and do it right.
plus they have added 650/750 cams to their lineup. good stuff!
sucks you have to do this now but man, i've been in your shoes before i heard of this sight.
no fear, just a little set back. we will walk you through it.

This is a good reason to run synthetic oil, I have a 74 ford bronco that broke the oil pump shaft while off-roading and I had to drive it out with no oil pressure because no one could get to me, ended up dropping the pan and the pump, replaced the shaft and put her back together and it fired up and has run fine, now I did not run it to the point of seizing but it was close(had to drive about 2 miles of up hill rocky terrain to get back to where I could get a tow with no oil pressure at all) but I think the only thing that saved this motor was the synthetic oil I had just put in it. Like others have said, if you can get it to turn over fill it up and see if it will run. Marvel Mystery Oil is good for un-sticking stuck motors
My 86 Dodge had the worthless 2.2L engine and chose to blow it's head gasket on the freeway at 1AM 50 miles from home (so I kept driving). It blew all the water out and the temp gauge went completely off the dial. When I got home I lifted the hood and the engine was so hot I couldn't get near it.
Synthetic oil saved that engine as well, it had no damage other than the head gasket.

Question 1: can the engine be disassembled all the way to the crankshaft while still mounted on the bike?
Question 2: is there a company that sells complete engine? Like the 700cc? Thanks folks

I cleaned up the exterior of the bike with biodegradable degreaser and the oil lines are fine so some thing internal must have failed. There is lots of oil in the exhaust pipe. The engine can no longer be turned over so it's seized up.

The engine must be removed to split the cases for the crank to come out. Oil in the exhaust pipe just might tell a different story. Maybe you broke something else in the motor, thats why it locked up. Your problem might not be as bad as you are thinking.

I started to remove the top end and so far I'd removed the cylinder head. The overhead cams and bearings surfaces look shinny and smooth. All valves are still in its place and appear normal except the 3rd one is more whitish in color. I can see the top of all piston heads and all in good shape(nothing cracked or broken). All has hardened black soot/carbon which i think is normal? I'll be removing the cylinder this weekend. The engine however still cannot be turned over using the kickstarter lever. I'll also be removing the rest of the engine of off the frame to split the cases.
