If you sink you over size valves deep enuff you will not have any v-v clearance problums.I have .180' V-V at seat .Every combo will not be set up the same. What will work on my set up may not work with you combo.

You are so right. I started out with about .170" at the seat and had very close v to v. I am now about .190".
The higher they are the better they flow , but as usual there is a cost.
I understand it is better to sink the xht more so than the intake. For flow reasons.
This was 1 reason i like to use light valve springs and only 1 piston, while degreeing. So much easier to turn over and double check everything.

If you head has been decked and your valves have been sunk you may need to check combuston chamber CC on the head.I had to do some work in the chamber to get mine back to 36cc.The less cc's the more compression you will have. These are some of the things I did,you do not have to ,but this will make the difference between a engin that runs and one the kicks ass.We will see after going to the dyno and have some real factual dyno numbers.Instead of dyno butt feed back.
