I recall that feeling in 73 with my new Z1 & in 69 with my new CB750. If that thing scared you now for Gods sake dont try out a new Hayabusa, ZX14, or a big motor KZ

ive ridden every kind of sick ungoddly bike known to man from a 1428 turbo kaw to a busa with 2stages of juice and im here to tell you any of them can kill ya just as fast.the biggest differance being the busa and the zx-14 actually have the brakes and chassis to go with the power so they arent nearly as scary at high speeds as a pissed off z1 motor trying to twist its way out of a stock chassis while you are trying to point it down the road in a straight line! thats just one of the reasons i get bored riding new sportbikes ,theyre too predictable!:P

It was just a joke guys, settle down. Everything is fast when its as fast as youve ever been before. Didnt mean to upset anyone's inner demons

Im 64, a retired lineman and been thru 2 divorces while biking & drinking. Ive scared myself sober a number of times. I no longer care to go that fast any more. Youre not drunk until youve puked in a full face helmet at 65 mph. Ruins a lacquer paint job !:silly:

Of course not, In the words of W.C. Fields you should never drink water, fish f@#k in it.

I just rode my KZ900 the other day for the first time. It's been about 20 years or so since I've thrown a leg over a 900 and I had forgotten how hard they pull when you smack the gas. Too bad the tires are so old, it would have been nice to go for a longer ride on it without worrying about having a life ending blowout.

No, you just need one that flips open. You can flip it open, lean over and puke, flip it down and keep going.....
