Thats a rabbit hole.
I'll give you $1000 for the KZ650 then you can buy the KZ1000.
I know the logix don't make sense I just want the KZ650.
These are 2 different monsters. I was looking for a 650 and ended up with a 1000. the 1000 seems like a large bike by comparison. For me it will suit just fine because my woman likes to ride with me and I like to ride fast. the extra engine makes riding more natural feeling.

You misunderstood. The owner of the KZ1000 will give it to me if I give him the KZ650 AND $1,000.

I wasn't trying to make sense... just trying to get you to sell me your bike for $1000.
How perfect is the kz1000?
seems like you just need to drop the $1000 into your KZ650.

Yep Im might just do that. Ive never been on a KZ1000, but the KZ650 is MARVELOUS - one INCREDIBLE bike! It was meant to rival the Honda CB 750 (I have a 1972) and it exceeds it in some ways.

It's very much a personal choice. I have two 900's and a 1000 and am thinking of dropping down to a 550. Why? Because it weighs less and will do everything I want to do.
I suggest you put on paper all the points about the 650 that you like and don't like and then rank them. Then do the same for the 1000. That should clarify in your mind what you should do.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

As far as Im concerned, the 650 is HEAVY. It feels like it weighs as much as my 72 Honda CB 750, but to me its a big bike. I think I like it most because that green really stand out.
These are my bikes.

The potential seller asked me not to put pics up until after weve come to an agreement. I may just hold on to my 650 and forget the 1000. Not sure yet.

How do you spend most of your time riding? If I spent most of my time riding above 60 mph I'd go with the KZ1000 if they are in similar condition. I love, love LOVE my KZ650. My first one was in 1978 and we used to go looking for CB750's and Sportsters and wax their tails. If you are running around town or spend more time in the twisties, I'd go with the KZ650.

I've got 650's, a 900 and a 1000. When the sun comes out and its ride time it's always a 650 I take out, they do just about everything so well. The only time the others come out is if its a specific model meet or there's going to be ALOT of high speed motorway munching to do.
So keep the 650 and the money I would say.
