2 big guys can pick up a big bike with locked wheels and slide it into a pickup or van and be on their way in less than 30 seconds. I know, it happened to me back in the early '80's. The big draw for the 900's and 1000's back then was the motors. So many bored out and built up for racing resulting in more worn out engines. That's what sent my thoughts to the bigger money items, not so much the smaller bikes. For several years one of the main draws is overseas markets ever since Japan raised it's cc limit is just one of the markets that's been hoarding early KZ 900's and 1000's by the shiploads. Supply + demand = big bucks $$,$$$. ...................................Mike

My security "system"; put a bunch of dirty, mismatched, beat up parts together and call it a motorcycle. Ain't no-one going to want to steel that!

Meth heads will break off your spark plugs to use the ceramic insulator to use as meth pipes, & then your bike is stranded & left behind to be striped or stolen,    :laugh:GPzMOD750 wrote: My security "system"; put a bunch of dirty, mismatched, beat up parts together and call it a motorcycle. Yeah, they're like RATS. Meth is at the base of every crime in our area. They'll come onto your property and take inventory. If they need a hinge, you'll come home to a door laying there without them. I didn't know about the spark plug trick until a guy that was working on the job I was on complained he used pieces of one to break into a car and stole what he thought was a roll of quarters. They were nickels, he got caught with them and went to prison for a year because of some "lousy nickels." I fired him of course. He couldn't understand why.
