No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationWell I bite the bullet and ordered my seals. Should have done it before. With everything else going on, I really couldn't afford it. I'm just tired of having oil on my foot. They came today, three day shipping. No business card to show, I may have one around here, I've done business with them before. Strange thing, the manuals don't address replacing seals, Climer or the factory. There are three for the shifter. I'll have to figure it out myself.

Document that repair as much as possible. I'm sure some of us will get to follow in your footsteps sooner or later.

Gotcha. A new thread. There are three seals. From what I figure, the middle one needs to face inward so the crud won't get in there. I'll see in the morning.

While editing this thread, I thought I'd mention. I still have a drip. Might be coming from the pan. Just one but Kaws don't leak. Time for another look.

I still have that dyno grommet leak. An hour or so after every ride there is a drop or two on the floor under the dyno cover.
Ive been tossing a rag under the dyno to catch it since the last week.
Everything else is dry and I'm over 1500 miles now.
I replaced my clutch cable and put my 16 tooth sprocket on last night and three of my buddies want to ride today so I'll get 60-80 miles in today to see if I like it.
16/35.
I found my 33 also but a new chain and sprocket purchase is forth coming.
I bet I go back to 15/35. It has always been my go to compromise gearing.

I ended up doing about 110 miles today. I like the 16/35 combo too.
I did notice having to go into 1st gear a lot in the hard 10-15mph hairpin turns where I have been using 2nd.
The 70 mph-80 mph ride home after leaving the foothills was less frantic.

I still do not understand why every fricken photo from my iphone ends up being upside down on this site.

Looks like I have to copy them off my phone to my hard drive first and then save them with a different name.... no idea why.

Not bad for more then 38 years old and less the 44,000 miles on it...

This is not restored.... just me, the first and single owner taking care of my stuff....
