I ride a Kawasaki, it's only after 40 years my bike is getting the respect it deserves. There will always be narrow minded people, I just don't have to deal with them. I started this thread not to bash hogs, (they don't need the help) and I didn't do it to provide a place for foul mouthed stupid remarks ether.
When I showed the one that fathered me my new Z1, all he said was. "I'd buy a Sportster." He never did. He died not knowing me or the freedom I have enjoyed riding.
His loss.

That's crazy, but a heavily modified Harley, with an nearly 100% aftermarket engine. Here is a [strike]bone[/strike] mostly stock Kawi for comparison.
Still has factory warranty too...

Thats nothing Steve - had a farkwit tell me his R6 did 330 km/h/ 205 mp/h - havnt seen him again to ask if he had it up to 500 km/h yet - just as likely ! Why say that - just confirms one thing :laugh:
