It seems endless but I'm getting there. I didn't realize the barrels were so jammed into the cases like they were. The other barrels weren't so bad. Wish I'd known when I installed the 903 crank.
Much better tool. The brick wall I felt was the valve seat cast into the head. Good place to stop. I have a plan on how to resurface the plug land so the gasket will seal against the head. More to come.
This project had gone from a part time hobby to all or nothing commitment leaving everything else to wait. Just when I think I have it all sorted out something else pops up. I didn't even make my donation this month. I needed every $ I had in case something else was needed. What was to be a 3-4 day build turned out to be TWO WEEKS. With the wheel bearings hopefully things will get back to normal again.
BTW, the next fund drive will start in March.
