1980 LTD 1000..,1976 LTD 900, have the 1000&900 now. the rest are previous= 1978 KZ 650 B.., 1980 Yamaha XT 500..,1978 Yamaha DT 400.., 1977 Yamaha yz 80..,Honda trail ct 70.., Honda QA 50...5-1/2 hp brigs & straton CAT chopper mini bike...3-1/2 hp mini bike (WHEN GAS WAS ABOUT 45 CENTS A GALLON)!!!!

Keep an eye on those CL/Fleabay ads guys! I think that if about 10 of us showed up at his door to pick up an advertised stolen part, the ensuing festivities would deter the miscreant from any future
"misappropriations" ! Ya can't chop bikes if your fingers are bent all funny! LOL!
I have lost two of my son's dirtbikes to my (formerly) trusting nature, and scumbags like that....

Jack, So sorry to read the news in this thread. I remember you telling me about the build and seeing it in your basement. I also recall the pride and sense of accomplishment it filled you and Zach with. At least you have the memory and shared that experience together even if the bike is lost.

Let me know if there is anything I can do. I will post over on the ZRXOA forum as well. Many Bay Area Old School members there. They may also notice something.

BTW, Laura and I were driving by on IL 71 on 2/12 and on Sunday 2/16. Thought about calling you then. I am sure you were not in the mood on Sunday but will reach out soon.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and for getting the word out
Here is a picture taken from a school camera of the dickhead pushing the bike down the hill.



Update: the bike has been recovered :woohoo: towed and stored by a Oakland towing company and for 800 bucks Zach can have it back :pinch: .
He is going there in the morning to talk to them , hopefully the bike will still be worth that.
