I posted a link to this thread over at kz650.info.com. I hope someone at one of these 2 sites will spot the bike or its parts and sound the alarm. Ed

That sucks.

Hope you find her again.
I always dread my bikes being stolen.
I usually lock mine up, and some wonder why.
I know a bike can still be stolen when locked, but it does make it more difficult.
Someone looked to see what I had under the cover beside my house last year.
Was my '77 kz650 C1 with the tank, seat, and side covers removed, so hopefully was not too tempting.

That is heart breaking Jack. Still remember your rebuild thread. And you posting about him leaving for Cali. Hope they find it. At least it is not a common bike and can be more easily distinguished from the modern bikes and the harleys. Feel bad for Zach.

Good luck

I think we are just going to monitor CL and see what comes up, parts are parts and it would be pretty hard to prove that they came from your bike .

But the tool set is worth something and I'm hopeful this scumbag figures that out and tries to sell it just like it is , those stickers, rust stains and scratches are like finger prints .

We'll see, thank you everyone for your support .
