My old craftsman mower was a Honda. It has been replaced by an Ariens with a Kawi.

So any Guys up north want to ride to St Albans, VT on Sunday and pick up the flag? I am pretty sure that squadrider and I could meet on Saturday. However I just plain don't want to get stuck with the flag. What I am hoping for, is that somebody from Canada, or maybe New york?, will contact me and we can meet Sunday, or maybe next weekend somwhere in VT or New York. I really want to help you guys get the mission done. I just need to know there is somebody close that want to pick up the flag.

Hey Tommy, thanks for calling last night, hopefully we can make the exchange this weekend. I am thinking maybe around noon. We'll see if any of the neighbors want to have a couple of good rides and finish what you guys started. I think the whole idea is cool as hell and I am psyched that my ZX11 qualifies. I really love my old GPz but it is in the 75% completed project stage and not at all roadworthy yet.

Grantorinobro, I have asked 9AM53 in Canada to contact you about meeting up. Since we weren't planning on it to cross somewhere between you two but rather at Niagara Falls, the Canadians are going to have to recalculate their route thru Canada for the flag. I just notified them and hope to have that worked out soon.

Anyone wanting to follow Leg#2 thru this part should watch the Canadians thread as that will be where any info on the first part of Leg#2 will be posted until it crosses back into the states.

I messages grantorino my number and am willing to meet up, I have a not wuite vintage KLR though, so I will call MARK to see if he can join too to make this legit.

OK, I looked up St. Albans and it is very near the border...I have no passport so is there any way you could meet me just across the border in Canada?

Tommy and I have a plan to meet in Brattleboro on Sunday to exchange the flag. I talked to Mark from Canada and between us and jeffasaki? The flag will cross the border. If anyone from central VT wants to ride to Brattleboro sunday morning that would be cool.

I got the flag from squadrider today and it is now in Barre VT

Hopefully Mark and I can exchange it this coming weekend.

Unfortunately for me, i had a break down. fortunately i was only 1 hour out. so i was able to get my LOVELY WIFE and son to rescue me. it is our 28th anniversary today. She seems to thing that if i let her smash my bike with a sledge hammer, that she would have had a great aniversary.

i search as many wires as i could on the side of the highway, but did not see any hot spots???
I'll have to dig deep now. it seems odd that it almost melted the spade leg off of the fuse before blowing??
it was a huge disappointment for me, as Jeff and i were all set to have a great week end. Jeff is marching on to meet Paul in Malone NY. HE'LL stop and stay the night with us on the way home. so i will at least get to see the banner.

There has been Re-Calls on some blade fuse for not blowing at the rated spec, starting electrical fires. Maybe that is the case here? Or possibly its just got a poor fit at that end or the holder and it caused some resistance making heat? just guessing.
