Ebay Yoshimura exhaust- was it worth the price?

OK guys, I just won this Yosh exhaust on ebay. In the end, it's gonna be $212 shipped. I still needed an exhaust, and I figuered this was cheaper than any new system I could buy. The question is, was it even worth the price I paid? Here are a few pics of the system-

If I was looking for a pipe, I would have paid 212 shipped for that pipe.

That is actually a 1980 series II Yoshi pipe. in 1977 it was still a series I which did not have the can. The series II was built by MAC and is the basis of the modern MAC "cannister" pipe. The series III was the last one made for these bikes and it has a Aluminum can on it like a Kerker "K" series but it was very short. The series II pipe was a better street pipe than the series I, because it had a better mid range. between all my bikes I have one of each.

Thanks for the reassurance Tri and Tony. $212 is equivelant to about an hour of flight time in that 337 in your Avatar Tony! Thanks for the offer Tri

Yes sir, no excessive adverse yaw with an engine failure..but then you have to contend with the "centerline thrust only" limitation on your ticket. I certainly wouldn't kick one out of a hanger!

I'd say the skymaster is my fav. airplane right now. You can fly them with a regular twin engine endorsement so you can bypass the whole centerline thrust issue.

Good info on the pipe otakar.
