LMFAO!!!! I leave the post for a few minutes and you guys are at it again. plummen dood, desperate housewives. lololololol Look no two ways about it we are COMING!!! We will come hell or high water. If she decides to stay I am still coming out. I need to get the summer packed full of riding time because I know once that baby comes the only riding I will be doing in my wet dreams.
She will come for sure I feel it in my heart and since she can't fly the whole driving thing appeals to her. She drives I ride or at least that is the dream part. Me riding my shiny new kz to park up at cannery row to show and make plummen dude drool. lol:blush: Maybe it will motivate him to finish his badarse turbo project ahead of schedule.
It would be very cool if and when I ride out that I could talk OMR in to parking his bike next to mine at cannery row. HINT HINT The time is now! If I am going to be bringing a pregnant lady out to timbuktu I think you could bring some orange crush to the party. That would be a friggin blast. We could ride out to my brother's and spend the night and early the next morning head on up to party with Craigo. Say do you know why blondes don't wear mini skirts in San Francisco?

Because their nutbush shows. buahuahuahuahua  :side: :S

As far as sensibilities go Tirebomb can anyone explain to me why I would stick so much money in to my engine when with that same money I could have bought a zx14 and been done? With a reliable liquid cooled bike that is fast as spit and doesn't overheat at the stoplight or driving in the city? Have I lost my friggin mind? Well, it will sure be one nice street machine until it gets a little hot under the collar. I can't even believe the whole fiasco last season.
The head gasket leaked which was a blessing in disguise because the timing chain stretched and slapped against the head shaving off some aluminum I think, not sure, that the aluminum shavings may have plugged up the oil pump and starved the top end for oil. That or the cam edges may have chipped off and destroyed the cam bearings on the intake and.... well whatever. That was a costly f-up.
Hopefully falicon will do a supreme job on my crank and everything goes back together nicely and I have no more real problems with the bike. The powdercoated cases and frame look really nice along with the bling of the stainless nuts and bolts. The CR's hopefully turn out to make the bike run much nicer than those 29s. Which I no doubt feel they will. Man everytime something nice gets done on the bike something else looks bad and needs to be done. Like brand new clothes and worn out tennis shoes. They look much worse by comparison with new clothes on than they do with comfortable well worn clothing. Crazy analogy, I know but it's true. Fixing up a bike a little at a time and the ugly things look uglier and scream for attention after.
Don't you just love to read these stupid long posts. lol Sorry, but every time I get a beer or two in me and it's late I wax poetic.

Isn't Patton the funny guy. Absofuckinglutely! He is going to have to make the trip. Just don't stop off at the submarine races on the way there. lol
I hope that my bike will be cool with the long distance to ride with all that work in the engine. If she shits the bed I am gonna be a very unhappy camper and I will buy a new bike and leave her sitting in the garage for a year as punishment.

you got an oil cooler on the old girl then it should be alright. i just had to replace a sleeve ansd a set of pistons in my 74 because i was a jackass the last race i mean ride of the season burnt up 2 cylinders as nice as you please. so i backed it down a bit i put a stock head together and i'm going to aim for 130 mile an hour instead of the 150 i keep trying for. and i also found i had time to give the engine a real spiffy new paint job it will look good going back together tomorrow night .

How about that Honda 600? They had two models I really liked the f3 and the f4i the f3 seemed like each response was connected to my neurons. Was like I was on a ball bearing. Steering, acceleration, everything was glass smooth. Also another of the 600 bikes that I really liked but seemed like when I was riding it I was doing pushups on the road because the handlebars were so low was the r6 by yamaha. That was a nice ride as well.

Katana 1100? Now that is a bike that my friend bought that I dreamed of buying. I rode several Kans of tuna 750's One was completely tricked out and was the scariest ride I have ever ridden including my brother's gsxr 1000 '02 model with carbon pipe and mapped out which was a beefy, very fast bike but in comparison didn't nearly scare the wits out of me. I don't know what it had but it was scary scary fast. The clutch action got really stiff from the beating it was given on a daily basis. Then my brother bought one with 2k on the od completely bone stock. Wasn't nearly as fast but was much fun and then one with over 30k on the click in California. Of the three I would have to agree with you that those were some nice bikes and the 1100 must've been really nice with adjustable fairing. Even his little Ninja 500 was a blast on two wheels err.. one wheel. Most of the time I was beating on it the front wheel would just fly up going around corners on one wheel! Light as a bicycle.

Alright Tirebomb. lol I am going to ride regardless so it should be interesting to see how 5000 miles or better in a couple of weeks treats my body. I have put on well over 7k within a week in my car when I drove up to Seattle and down the coast to see my my brother in Laguna and back to Chicago. That was wonderful just me and my dogs to keep me company. I really needed that alone time. The bike has got to be awesome to do I'm sure. But no way I will be riding straight through like I did in my car. Last season I went to Flagstaff Az in one stretch non-stop. Left and drove non-stop other than gas and restroom. That was an experience that ended up like Fear and Loathing Las Vegas the movie. Only without drugs. :woohoo: The strangeness piqued with the two bats that divebombed my car and scared me awake.

talking with arai59 yesterday about paint and life and music ect....talk came round to modern sportbikes and the ease of no breakdowns on a longer trip.......our bikes are great and we've all had the old it'll be fine posts before....sure is nice to have an all newer set up to turn key morning after after morning on the motels porch...campground ect....beats working on your bike on the side of the interstate while big rigs clip your air space...

any way we both were leading towards a used zx-10r and the amount of them around with 1500-3000 miles for way cheaper than a new bike....a little confining and forced forward...but way in my mindset as a bike i would "put up with"...good tires...set up the bike to suit you...do 300 mile days and see....either way for 5000 you can get a killer 2003-2007 with upgrades and low miles...165 hp...why not...

here is a spy pic of the 2011 z10rrrrrrrr

Stealth bombers or transformers is what seems to be in these days. Even the f4i that looked cool like a bird they had to mess with. The new gsxr 1300 looks like a friggin motor scooter on steroids or baby huey's older brother. I know many thought they looked ugly before but nothing wrong with winnin ugly.
Now they look happy  :cheer: which is kind of strange. But wasn't suzuki a moped company to begin with that evolved into selling of motorcycles? I am sure I heard it somewhere that there was a tv special on about the suzuki motor company. Maybe they were trying to get back to their roots?:woohoo:
