I'm with you, Roy. I got better things to do than move a rag in circles.

Don't listen to them Roy, they're Evil  not to mention lazy.... Leave the dark side Roy, be strong, you can do it!

Sure, it takes a little time originally, hell they have been sitting what, 30 years. :S but once you get them there it's not that difficult to keep them looking Wow factor... A little basic rub on wax/polish, let dry, then wipe off....

Now if the evil ones could truly admit it, that clutch cover looks awesome... They're only jealous.... :P

Think about it... Your KZ is parked right next to another lazy man's KZ... An outsider walks up and goes, neat an old KZ... They go to your bike and go, HOLLY SHIT, wow that is awesome... That KZ is just beautiful! ;)

I kind of think it's a performance issue. The friction caused by that schmutz, booger and poots trying to cut through the air has a stupendous drag effect. The only thing that can be said that is good about it is it is shielding the bike from cosmic gamma rays and making it almost impossible for the aliens to get the tractor beam to take hold of it. But with practice and a nicely designed tin foil helmet you can do the same thing.
Bike Cleaning 101: Take it to the local fire department and hit it with the 3inch high pressure hose. What don't fly off is supposed to be there. ;)

I'm not arguing against polishing. Far from it. I just don't find it productive for me as no one here in Harleyville will care anyway.

I haven't seen Rebel in a while. Neither have i heard him.

Now back to shining the rear wheel. OMR, That rear wheel has been sand blasted and clear coated. At least 10 coats.

I had the hub apart so i thought i would spray it out with carb cleaner and the carb cleaner disolved the clear coat.:( :( Now i really have a mess. The sand blaster is in Thomas's shop.
