Now that right there - is rediculous but funny stuff. His arm pits will be covered with bugs by the time he gets home.

The way I see it is that V Twin power lives down low, where it's more tractable. In order to use the horsepower of a four cylinder UJM the rider has to use significantly more skill and have better reaction times. Therefore tavern to tavern contests are usually ruled by twins, Hurley or otherwise.

Real contests usually go to the fours, and SIXES.

That's the funniest chop I've seen on here in some time. Thanks, Patton! :D

As for the middle-weight KZs being the forerunners of the modern day supersports, I concur, but I also think that they picked up and carried on the torch after the sun set on British motorcycle industry.

I've ridden a few Harleys and find their power kind of nice for the ride. Same idea as a diesel engine kind of. My 1997 F350 diesel is 225hp rated and will pull any hill at any RPM without having to constantly shift down, then I have a 460 gas E350 1T Ford van that feels fast to drive, but won't pull a hill worth a hill of beans, constantly shifting up and down. That's where the torque number comes into play. Maybe a KZ650 is 64hp (right), a Harley is the same, but check both at low engine speeds where the general range of operation is and you'll find the Harley much higher at low RPMs so a more relaxed pleasant power. I'm not a Harley guy by any stretch of the imagination, but the torque is a nice asset to any vehical definately.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
