My Z1 Upside Down in the Parking Lot

Man what a crappy day, I go to pay my cable bill this morning, and when I come out I see MY BIKE flipped over in the parking lot. I was flipping out. My girl says that lady must have run your bike over, The I heard over my shoulder "No she didn't do it I did." I turn around and I see a frantic old man in his 70's. I was so pissed. He helped me right side it before any more oil and gas ruined the parking lot.I was so pissed. He hit my bike turning in to a space and did not see it.I was so pissed. He flipped my bike in to the car I was parked next to. I was so pissed. He managed to break both mirrors, Did I mention I am pissed? dented my tank, broke my blinker man I am pissed. scratched my point cover, broke my front break lever, dented my tach, scrathced and dented my header. I thought this would help me feel better but I am still pissed. Before I lose my attitude I am gonna call his insurance company. Thanks for letting me vent.

Big BUMMER man, at least he's got insurance. Good luck with your claim.

Sorry about your bike. At least the guy was honest and told you he did it. A lot of people would have drove off and left. Hope his insurance takes care of it.

Not sure what I've got that will help, but put together a list of parts that'll need replacing and I'll take a dig through.

I have to agree on one note mentioned, at least the old guy copped up to it... most ppl would have hauled ass from the location without a doubt...

His insurance should have no difficulty paying out considering his age and I'll safely assume driving record based on what occurred and in his parking skills... :S

Sorry for your pain... Sure, sucks ass, it will be a PITA fixing her up, not being able to ride her in awhile but the good news, she can be resurrected from the issues you've mentioned, she's not totaled so she can be repaired...

That does suck but you can't be really that shocked. Dude you live in God's waiting room, AKA Florida. I'm just thrilled that you were not riding the bike at the time. I lived in Fla. for about 6 years and the riding there sucks.

I'm a strong believer that old people there should only be allowed out at certain hours without an escort.
