Two 2" thick new york strip steaks, two 12 packs of Newcastle, and a dollar.
I'll give you 5 lbs. of Kobe beef, 2 cases of Labatts blue and $2.00. And I thought I've gotten some good deals before. That is unreal.

That leaves the truck and the bike to put towards a downpayment on a house or a more practial daily driver than the Camaro. I had it in my head that if I got $3000 for both the truck and bike I would be ok. The truck is for sale on craigslist right now for $1500 as is, but if it isnt sold by friday and I have time this weekend I'm going to paint it all one color and put the new leaf springs on and ask $3000. If I get enough for it to get me by I wont sell the bike, but if someone gives me an offer I cant refuse Ill have to let the bike go. I posted this thread on here expecting answers like $1500 or $1000 so I was figuring I'd have to sell both to raise the $3000.
I really like this bike and would like to keep it if I can; its not uncomfortable on long rides like my brothers Ninja 600 but I can whip his ass in the 1/8th mile. I want to thank you all for your input as I might have made a big mistake letting the bike go for the $900 someone offered me last week.
Heres a pic of my truck taken yesterday, If anyones in the Morgantown area and wants a solid 1979 Chevy K10, let me know. Heres the link to the ad morgantown.craigslist.org/cto/1090561049.html

I have almost $1000.00 into rims, tires & spokes that I all the labor myself on my 73 Honda.
I was quoted $1500.00 for a head gasket repair on my 73 Honda yesterday. I would say hold out for the max on that original beauty.
Unlike what seems like most guys on this site, I don't have neighbors that "give me bikes"... Just look at prices out there for vintage bikes, I wouldn't give it away.

Not to mention original the condition of this one. It's very very nice looking ride. If you sell you will always regret it. God only knows how many '79 Chebbys were made. Get rid of the truck and keep this bike!

That guy knows nothing of value. Put it on Ebay with 3k BIN and i'm 99% sure it will sell right away. No messing around with tire kickers!
