Hopefully, Mary and I will be there with the 650! Went last year and had a blast - in spite of the rain! Will probably go down Friday after work and come home Sunday evening. Hotels in Mansfield are already gone - I have a reservation in Upper Sandusky (Comfort Inn).

Are there any places to camp around there? Im only asking since ill be riding solo there this year, is there any one from the chicagoland area going? Mabye we can ride up together.

There is camping at the track. Public restrooms and showers are available. I drag my camper up on Friday morning to insure getting a good spot. For tent camping there is an area between the road course and motocross track. Check out the map on the website.

Going to invite the group I ride with up. Sounds like a weekend full of fun and good times. We will ride out of Chicago if anyone around wants to ride with us.

Dang! It's just not fair I tell you! That's twice now that a wedding I have to go to has been planned on days when huge motorcycle events have been scheduled. The first is Friday the 13th Port Dover Canada about 3 hours up from Detroit. Just like the sturgis of Canada they even have a web site but my cousin is getting married. :blink: :angry: :side:

Looks like I won't be making the Mid-Ohio thing .... my wife has surgery on the 21st ... she'll be in the hospital for 5-10 days after that ... sooooooo .... y'all have fun and I'll see Ya next year !

Sorry to hear about your wife. That must be serious surgery to have a hospital stay that long.
