Mid-Ohio Vintage Days July 25-27 2008

If anyone wants to go to the biggest motorcycle swap meet in the USA, this is the place. The AMA runs an interesting event. Not only is there a massive swap meet (1,000 vendors spread over more than 50 acres), there's also vintage motorcycle racing, an auction, bike show and many other events to occupy your time.

We'll be there - I know there's a few of us who've already booked hotels. If you plan on going, make sure you book your hotel rooms immediately or you'll be disappointed.

We'll be in our usual spot with Roy and Shane (hopefully) - Fence 4, 5, 6 & 7 - just behind the golf cart rental...

Who is going this year?

Me,Me,Me,ME and ME.
I'll bring up a couple of neighbors named Jim and Jenny. Jim is going to try and get his Trident ready as Triumph is the featured bike this year.
I'm going to try and bring something. A bigger pit bike for sure. I'll have a 50cc Honda for sale and i might make some money on it if it gets hot.
Got my room reserved.
I don't want to sell any parts. Just set back with Gringo and RELAX.

Unless the job on that 161 ft. Motor-Yacht pans out I'll be there. If that happens I'll be thinking fondly of you all while I'm making drinks in the Mediterranean.:woohoo: I need to get in touch with that guy soon, I think the boat is due to be finished this month. I'm never sure which bike I'm going to bring, it always depends on weather. One of these years I'd like to bring the Z-1 Classic but if it is going to be muddy I'm not about to try and clean that sucker up after running through the mud.

I just live down the road from Mid-Ohio .... I'll be there on my newly restored LTD !!!

The wife and I will be there again this year. I didn't even get through the whole swap meet last year. If it gets any bigger they may have to move into the track area and skip the races!! LOL

I will be there. Not sure if I can make it early like usual. Depends on if we are busy at work. Not sure I will be bringing. I know I will bring my Triumph and a rusty TC100 I picked up for a pit bike. Everyone is welcome to use it of course to ride around or pick up parts. If I get the CL450 cafe racer finished I will bring it too. Doubt I will bring the KZ this year. I might have a few things to sell but I am going to try to do and see more this year instead of being tied to the booth. I say that now but when the time comes I may have 5 bikes to sell. You just never know.

Shane, Make up several "NOT FOR SALE" signs before you leave home. They should bring a buck each and they won't take up much room.
I wonder how many more years the banner will last before i have to replace it.
I'll have a Kawasaki shirt for every day of the event this year. I have three from Australia and the one that Yvonne Duhamal signed.
I am trying to buy a R1 that is Yossi built that puts out 200 HP. We will see.
I hope to see Melvis and whats her name again this year.
we are going to have to get a guest book for everyone to sign. at least for the ones that can write.
There will again be some rare and early bike in the cover of my area for everyone to check out.
I don't even know what the bike will be.

Ya me and my girlfriend will be there this year. Ill be on the grabber green z1, so ill be easy to pick out.

Absolutely Shoe ... can't wait for this one ... last year my bike was "in progress" .... this year I can ride it there !!!
