That's sort of the idea. Want to get everything vapor blasted over winter, have everything black powder coated, everything else that needs it plated. Sort of depends on whether work picks back up or not though.

You got my gears spinning, hopefully the A4 restoration will be done this fall, and I have my next build I’m collecting parts for. It’s gonna be built on a ‘77 LTD frame with ZX9R USD front forks that are blacked out, a Gs1100e rear swing arm powder coated black. I want to do black hubs black and rims with Gold spokes, now you got me thinking the spokes and rest of the hardware should be zinc chromate also. I have black tank and body work already done with blue ghost flames. The engine is gonna be black krinkle paint with polished side covers. They will help tie in the chrome fenders. I think you just gave me a great idea. I originally thought I’d black zinc the hardware. But the chromate would tie in with the spokes... I like it. Thank you. I wonder about how the low rise superbike bars would look zinc chromate? I was thinking gold but didn’t want it to overwhelm, the zinc chromate will be perfect.

EDIT: Add the goldish tone from the Delkevic and I’m popping in tall cotton. Wow, thank you!

Yea Mikaw. I'm thinking bunch of subtle accents. Did you see the carb linkage on Callum's 750H?

When I first started this, if I couldn't get such a bang on paint match, I was considering finding something "close enough" then add a bit of gold metallic to it. Just enough to make you wonder what was different, but it was such a bang on color match I decided against it.

No I didn’t I was distracted by the white speck on the inside of his tach.

Kidding. I did see the results of his carb rebuild. He’s got skills!

Just sitting around the house while the old lady cleans around me and just realized it's my bike's birthday month. Happy 43rd birthday!
Really need to name this bike. Just can't decide if it's a boy or girl...

It’s green, maybe “Money” or “Lucky”, Jade, Hulk. Happy birthday.

Well, if we name it after what it's taken from me "Money" would make a ton of sense. The old lady would probably suggest "engagement ring."

Here's some pictures of the exhaust for you Mikaw.

Also, I picture of all the blue shop towels in the trash so you know that I'm a "serious mechanic." :P

Thanks. I like the fit. Nice and tight to the frame. How was install? Easy? Hard?

I had no doubt you would have a bunch of dirty blue towels. ;). Nice touch, I like sharp elbows.

Install was incredibly easy. Just have to make sure the downpipes are installed in the correct order. 4 & 1, attach collector, #3, #2.

They even include a hook thing in the kit to help attach the springs that I got waaay too excited about.

You really have that machine cleaned up nice.

I didn’t expect to see a snubber for the center stand. See yellow circle.
