Finally got some good news on the 550! She's all buttoned up and ready for some finishing touches (paint the header, pod filters, front number plate to fill the headlight opening, new superbike bars, etc) then some fine tuning regarding the carbs once the Spring weather reaches Ontario! :P

Out of curiosity, what is the weight difference between the cast iron and phenolic pistons? I need to rebuild my dual setup and this may be the way to go.

Hey Drooz,

Quickie question for you on your rear sets, checked out the Fastfromthepast.com site you linked and it is pretty slick. I know my bike is different as its a GPz750 from 85' instead of what you are running but figured you might have some knowledge and experience all the same, did you notice that those rear sets moved your foot position back at all on the bike, or is it same as factory roughly? Trying to see besides aesthetics what benefit these have, but I love the look as well.
