Drooz TrackBike

Found a little something this week:

I've done a few track days and loved every minute of them. There's something "extra" about pushing the edge of your "personal envelope".

It's always a little unnerving to ride your "pride-and-joy" on the track though. One mistake and there's years of effort and no small amount of money tossed away.

So a dedicated trackbike would be a logical answer. :lol:

So, enter the '81 kz550. It's complete, but been sitting for a couple of years. Should fill-the -bill perfectly!

Anybody got a spare Kerker for a kz550? :woohoo:

Gonna use some bits and pieces that are just lying around here:

Decided to go with a bit of a retro look and feel. I'know, I know. :blink: Mags on old 70's spoke wheeled bikes and spokes on newer 80's mag wheeled bikes... :lol:

Gotta find some rearsets now.

One think about the little KayZed, it's light and nimble but not as fast or powerful as the GPz version. The up-side is that the GPz engine bits can be added later to the KayZed. I'll be on the look-out over the next year or so.

That and a Kerker of course.

Still no room inside.
