I guess I'll go ahead and use my high temp copper silicon to seal them for now. It's worked more often than not.

Got a design together for the custom triple my brother and I are designing. I have already made changes to this drawing as well.

The only one you have to lower is the top one? Can you use the plastic one to make a mold and cast it in aluminum? Looks good.

Thats a very good question. I always thought they were CNCed. I suppose the OEMs are cast but could you do this (safely) at home??

Not unless it's for someone you hold a lot of life insurance on and are planning to collect - there would be a lot of potential pitfalls that could cause cracks and overall weakness of the material.

This is just the basic concept. Pinch bolts areas are still being added. No, this will not be cast. Yes, Steve, only the too needs to be dropped. I am making you and bottom because we are also changing the offset to closer to stock so I can get turning radius back.

Sounds good. Will you have some plastic mock ups to test sizing? MAN it's got to cost a bundle. If it weren't for that, I was thinking you could beef up around the top and use those extenders. I'm sure it's better the way you're doing it. Like to see pics of the progress.
Question; Weren't the early Honda top triple clamps sand cast? I read they did that until they knew if the bikes would sell or not then the tooled up molds. That's why I suggested casting the top clamp.
