Anyway Ill post pics tomorrow of my progress.
Well this is where I started anyway.
1st pic was stage 1
2nd stage 2

Lots of good info on kawasaki.com, including parts diagrams, part names, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc. Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.

@ Patton, thanks for link. The only thing i found different was the batt box. As far as part # anyway. Did find out that the G shares the same cases as the Z1D. I thought that was very interesting. If any one else wants to chime in, please do so.
@ Les, thanks and do appreciate it. I dont think Ill run the mono, the batt box sets right in the way of the shock mounts on both frames. Yours looks to be mounted a little higher up. I could be wrong, just lookin at pics of it.
Ill give you a buzz this weekend and well discuss it.
BTW heres the progress so far,not much with workin and family.

I see that some of you are running an Autometer Tach with adapters according for it to work.
Has anyone used a Sunpro Tach?
Say something like this www.sunpro.com/product_detail.php?pid=16433
It just looks different than others. I like it,but they also have a chrome retro version also.
Let me know your opinions, good or bad.
Thanks,
Mike

I'm running the dyna2000, it has provisions for electric tachs, I don't see why a sunpro would be different, I believe I set every thing to 4 cylinder so that may be a necessary setting on the tach to use it.

Thanks Les,but I dont have the Dyna2000 yet. Ive seen an adapter that some have used from Dyna. I have Accel coils,if using the adapter, which is the neg side? I know that sounds like a stupid ? but i have had to hook anything to them.

From looking at the coil hook ups, they have a common pink and 1 black and 1 green. If I read the manual correctly, pink is + and the others are -. So I would connect the adapter to the - side to get the signal for the tach?
Please correct me if I am wrong.
On a another note...where can I get rotors resurfaced? Mine are grooved and would like to get them cleaned up.
Thanks,
Mike
