Didnt get much done over the weekend like i had planned. Did manage to get tins to Ram for paint.(he put a progress report in paint and body).
Anyway, had to work on a friends car and take the family out for putt putt on Sat. It was very interesting and fun.
I did get to build a rolling engine cleaning stand for the motor. I have to make some adjustments to it still before I can clean and paint the motor. Ill post picks in the next day or so. Lost of work this week, totalling 66hrs!
So not much time to work on it.
Please be patient.
Thanks,
Mike

Not much to report as of now. Been cleaning the motor. And I must say, dirty and oily! I recommend replacing the tach seals asap if they are leaking!

Did get this today from kz10006! It goes to powdercoat next Monday!
Now all the little things are gonna be needin done, cause now everything can be put on after it comes back! OMG its gonna go quick now!
Also gotta get the exhaust boxes and shipped to Nitroplate to be coated. Its a 3week turn around because of the steps involved. But I will not have to buy another exhaust for a long time!
Thanks,
Mike

Well didn't make it to powder coating yet. Had to do some work on the oldest daughter car. But managed to get to see Les Holt yesterday and pick up a 6 over swinarm from him. Note... it is not one he built,it was on another bike he had bought. Here it is mounted on the old frame for fitment.

how does it fit the new frame? do a a mock up to see if you need any bushings
just as a precaution do some measuring from frame to frame to see what the suble differences
are ie: swingarm pivot width rear master bolt mounting tank frame width etc... electrical battery and other tabs may mount differently

Mock up is OK. Its a little shy on the pivot bolt. But there was bushings in the club that might work? I'll take it apart tomorrow and swap them out and test the other frame and see.

Did more cleaning and painting on the motor today. Changed bushings in the swingarm also. They fitmuch better. Brake stay is short as is the axle.
Talked to Les Holt and he's gonna check out what he has.
Lots of progress today!
