Well finally started to make a little progress on the cylinder head today ,got it torn down and got started on some of exterior cosmetic stuff that really drives me nuts on the early gpz/j-heads.

Anyother thing that drives me nuts is those ugly ass ribs on the exterior of the lifter buckets, heres a comparison of a before/after in the rough stages.

Yeah the extra casting towards the inside of the bores doesn't do it for me either, again this is just a rough in to get the general shape.
Once the others are all roughed in ill go back and spend lots of time fine tuning/smoothing things out.

Heres a better view of the fins on 1 side roughed in compared to the nasty looking mitered stock ones, again just roughly done lots of work left.
Still need to dual plug head, make install sprocket/chain adaptor, clean up the porting.........

You really are purdying it up? Looks good. Miters are nice for door trim but not mc heads.

Id say hes gonna need to get some really good Velcro grips and some Velcro for the seat to hold his ass on there!
Even with a small 1015/1075 sized motor this thing is going to put the hurtins on a lot of sportbikes in a straight line, who cares about corners! :woohoo:
Between the motor trickery and all the 1 off chassis/suspension pieces that have been piling up this will be a good rolling bill board for the shop once he starts cruising the streets with it.
I guarantee it will be the most highly detailed kz turbo bike running around a 1000 mile radius of his house!
