Leon: I´ll save the full profile pics until I´m completely done
Kaw: Thanx for the heads up. Self etching primer is a check.
But I´m going for a normal 2 component black paint...you really think they get so hot ?

(Copy from the carb-forum)
Hey guys,
Could you please help me out with some jetting advice.
I doing up my carbs for my KZ1100 Retro Fighter project with below set up:
* Velocity stacks
* Bored to 1200 cc
* Close to stock exhaust
* Dyna S ignition
* Main jet is now 120
* Pilot jet is now 37,5
The carb kit below contained standard jets but also a 125 main jet and 40 pilot jet.
So...any advice how to set it up ?

...anyway, took a look at Dynojet kits and they have the 160 jets in their kit, so thats what I went for.
After assembling 236 parts the carbs are back together again

Hey guys !
Yepp...it´s alive !
I did a but ugly job hooking the coils and battery up. Filled up with some petrol and up she started.
I also repainted the carbs in satin black cus they looked a bit strange in gloss.
Only troble is that she´s running on 3 cylinders. Saw that the valve clerance for first cylinder is way off :whistle:

20 May 2015 14:58 - 20 May 2015 22:49Those carbs turned out great. Looks like you soda blasted, what did you use after that? Any primer and what kind of paint?
