OMR's New Girl.... 1997 Voyager XII (ZG1200-B11) was created by Old Man Rock
Well she's home... B)

Long story short... Somewhat... :S

1) Wife wasn't comfortable on the KZ and wanted a cruiser... Uggggghhhhh...

2) Found this beauty, guy wanted $1950, non running due to electrical problems. Had already spent $1200 ( :blink: ) shop on new electrical harness, alternator, starter, battery.... Still no go.

Kelley Blue Book for Fair running voyager ~ $2125....

So, I ride my KZ over there and hit him with this.
"No way you're going to get that price when KB is about the same for a running bike." Due to electrical issues/short circuits, possibly took out the rectifier, regulator, CDI etc... ~ $1k if I'm lucky...

I know I know, bull shit right.... As you can see, these old girls can nickle & dime you hard as in my 76 KZ.... So offered him $1200, told him to think about it and give me a call if interested.
20 minutes later, says come and get her for I know you'll take care of her.

Just got her home so downloaded the OEM manual, find the starter lock out and possibly get real lucky... :evil:

Atleast another bike was a suitable solution for her! I'm gonna have to hone my jedi mind trick skills:idea: nice lookin bike, and I'm sure you will have a trick or two up your sleeve for it
Mine:
04 Honda rebel 250(wifes)
04 GSXR 750(bolt on galore)
98 CBR 600F3(filter, pipe, adjustable cam sprokets, dyno tune)
76 KZ900A (LTD gauge pods, crash bars, LTD(style)pipes, dyna coils and ignition,headwork and mild port cleanup by cavanaugh racing, K&N filter pods, heck I dunno.

Looks like a clean bike and a good buy. Just do the coil mod on 'er and she'll be ready to roll. ;)
