Then you are the man i will speak to!!!!!!
Bottom end is ok, but the top end has had something bouncing around in there

the cylinder itself is fine

apart from the very top where it looks as though the sleeve has started to come apart...

Is this re sleeve time? If so i doubt it is worth it.
I have heard the 85 barrel will bolt on so that could be an option

ouch.
the head could be buffed out to remove burrs and re-used.
i would be afraid to re-use the cylinder as is.
if the bore measures in spec.
you could mill the top down enough to cleanup the head gasket surface and then make a spacer plate the same thickness (as what was removed from the top)for the bottom of the cylinder to raise the cylinder.then grind the bottoms of the transfers down to match the top of the piston at bottom dead center thereby getting a port job in the process  .

Skimming it had crossed my mind, but thats work i cannot do myself and im sure would get rather expensive.... And probably close to the price of a sleeve or used barrel.

Have you had any experience with the 85 barrels?
Do the 80 heads fit the 85 barrel?

After turning the bottom end over a bit more there is a bit of debris down there so ill be splitting that aswell.

Sorry to get off topic everyone, but at least its still a Kwakka!

I'd consider murder for a place like that to replace my 14x7 ft shed where I have 3 bikes and all my tools.

This is it with just two bikes in
