Well since I have converted to disk brakes on the A4 I thought I would start a build thread. I had hoped to have the frame painted by tonight but that is not going to happen. Too much time spent on frame prep.




I am going to mow the yard then come back and sand on the primer.

Frame is the biggest pain to clean and paint, looks like you done a hell of a job! Can't wait to see more. B)

That sure looks purtty! Can I ask if you can measure or know the inside distance between the pivot point spacers for the swing arm? I hate to ask, but my hasn't made it apart yet! Good luck on the build.

If your needing the width of the frame where the swingarm goes it's about 9-1/4". I can give you a more accurate number if needed but that's pretty close.

I would really like to find a KZ1000 A1 or A2 rear wire wheel. I don't mind using mags but would like to leave the bike with wire wheels.

The wheels on the bike when I got it were in poor shape. Roy

your going to have to work double time ,it super close to riding time (git-ur-done)
