Don't take this the wrong way, but I feel better about my little nest of gremlins now.

I am trying to do a decent job and I am running into problems each time I turn around. I have been working on wiring for a while.
The previous owner told me the bike sat under his carport for 10 years out of the weather and only one year in the weeds. I think he got that backward!
Would like to experiment by immersing the switch in "Evapo-Rust" and allowing it to soak and soak and . . .
Evapo-Rust is supposedly harmless to aluminum and other metals, attacking only the rust.
Good Fortune!

I actually need one of the other style so I can use the lighter caliper. This caliper is off a 900LTD and weighs a ton. Roy

I am having to use a Mac header but I have a RC Engineering header and a set of shotgun pipes. I will try all of them out after cleaning them.
I am going to need a good gas tank with the badges.
I installed a 18" rear mag. It had a good tire.
I have to go out and swap out the rear rotor and install seat and headlight. Getting close. It is about time.
It is getting cooler here in the mornings and evenings so maybe I will enjoy riding. Missed the whole year. Roy
