Thanks for the kind words Boyracer. I got some work done on the bike yesterday. I istalled my koso xrsr gauge. Very pleased with the quality. I will try to post up all the info to make it easier for the next guy.
Kz1100 wire --- Koso wire
Brown --- brown 12+ ignition
Black/yellow --- Black Ground
white/blue --- Red 12+ battery +
dark grn --- Orange left turn
yellow --- Red/black High beam
Blue --- grey right turn
Light green --- Light Blue Neutral indicator
green --- white/yellow fuel
Grey --- Blue/red oil pressure
coil+ --- tach wire lead
The speedo works of a sensor and a magnet that goes into the center of a rotor bolt, very easy hook up. I cut the factory plugs off my stock gauges so I could solder all the connections and plug it in inside the headlight.

the gauge looks great.i just put a temp gauge on mine. i T'ed into the oil cooler line then drilled and tapped, a plug for the T, to match the sensor threads.
the spacing # i gave u for the zrx shock top mount, should be close. i got that # from a member who has a ZRX. i can get u the bottom mount distance off my arm if u need it.

Thanks Mark I could really use the bottom shock mount measurement. I still have to pick up a T so I can hook up the oil temp sensor. I got my seat tail section this week it turned out really nice.

ok i'll get that measurement for u. i'm at work now so it will be tomorrow.
i am still waiting for fittings to tie in my new thermostat. so i am running without a cooler. i was surprised to hit 230*f the other day . it was about 24*c/75*f out side and i was just cruising around at about 60mph.
good thing i run synthetic oil.

With the Sanctuary Z have they holesawed the frame/brace and inserted the machined plug and welded both sides? To me that sounds correct.
yessir that is correct.
here is a shot of some before they get welded in.
and they use this jig to make sure everything is right.

Leon the bikes sanctuary builds are amazing. I just spent some time going thru their gallery. WOW! Can you machine steel Leon? It would nice to have some machined plugs for the shock mounts.
