it is quite a change.
if u look close in this pic u may see where i cut the side cover. just below the frames shock gusset. i had to cut the edge of my side cover to fit the shock. the lower mount is not present in this photo. i was a dumb ass and cut it off. i thought the bike would sit lower if i moved back to the old mounts with the zrx shocks (since they r longer shocks). but in actual fact it did not. since the springs compress easier when layed down , the bike did not sit lower when the mounts were moved. all it did was make the springs toooo stiff. so i had to redo the mounts again.

i'm not sure that u can just copy something like that sanctuary position. Without the shocks in hand and some trial and error , u just don’t know. U need to have the right amount of sag fore the springs, when u r done . so unless u can temporarily mount the shocks and check the sag, u r guessing. If u guess wrong u need to buy new springs, then the valving wont be optimal.
In my case I just copied the zrx geometry so I knew it was going to be right. Of course I didn’t use this logic the first time I did it . so I had to redo it.
the ride hight depends on the bikes use. for me, the higher the better. its toooo easy to scrape the motor in the turns, at the track. the 17" wheels and modern forks, take a lot of clearance away. take a look at the stance of my bike. i have it fairly level. i raised the front a bit.
here is a pic fromthe first setup. the forks in the normal position for zx9's . look at the shocks and u can see they r layed down at the bottom, and on stock mounts at the top.

That's what I should have done instead of making a bracket underneath. Nice and clean and way less work.
What machine work was entailed with the triples? I've got the same ones going on my 750, but with ZX10 forks.
Go green, buy a Kawasaki!

I live about a hour east of Denver with no machine shops close. So I sent both my tripples to Leon instead of looking for a local machinist to do the work. Leon did a excellent job and returned my tripples to me quick so I could get my bike back on the road.

if u change the axle point(if u use a dif swingarm), or if the lower/upper mounting points change, the amount of leverage aplied to the spring, and the rate of travel(wheel vs shock) will change.
There is a lot more than meets the eye with those springy thingies.
so i always suggests. when steeling shocks from another bike, just copy the donor bikes geometry ,ever posible,

With the Sanctuary Z have they holesawed the frame/brace and inserted the machined plug and welded both sides? To me that sounds correct.
Love the cafe look you're goin' for.
That one with the SS fairing is ballin'.
