Anyway - this calliper is now going on a way more minimal and discrete hanger. Stronger, lighter and way cooler looking. The waste of time and money for the other thing stings but I need this to be just right. Besides, maybe its worth something to someone along with the swing arm.
Like this but right side obviously.

i always found that with these brembo calipers you always need to step out the hanger. i do it with two simple plates bolted together just becuase i hate spending money on blingy CNC stuff i can do myself with a saw and press drill .
if you want pics, just say yes

Not too worried about CoG lol!
I actually prefer the look mounted dead at 12'o'clock with a very discrete almost invisible bracket. This type of hanger is used on all the super bikes now as its simple, light and strong - 1-piece. Its only bling because none of the stock hangers will fit a custom and modifying one is not a good idea.

But aesthetically, I'm in a bit of a quandary.Originally I wanted the gold legs / black sliders look as standard on GSXRs and nwere Kawa sports bikes.
Like so:
But now I've seen the bike in the flesh, I'm thinking I might go with some black on black crime?
What's the the thoughts out there? I'm really leaning toward the black/black. Because then the gold accents will pop more and it will look more tough / unique / custom.
I'd leave the axle clamps in the brown/green so should look a very unique set of forks.

What bike did the forks come off that you need to stiffen them up? Did I miss the post? Probably.

2006 ZX6 Ninja. A pretty light bike compared to a Z. I'm guessing the springs won't be upto it. Should probably check the actual weights as this bike will be about 20KG lighter than a regular Z.
Forks aren't to pricey to swap but full-on custom fork internals are out of control money. Not worth it.
