Hello Craig...most of the external stuff is unique to the E models and doesn't translate well to the A models. However, some of the internal motor stuff is shared with the Z1R (D3), E, and G models...for example the crank is shared with the above but not, apparently, with the B models...but, according to Mother Kaw, B shares a crank with the C2/3/4 models. You are going to have to go through the parts list to see which models share what, internally.

Craig, I have a right side ST sidecover on my street MKll.Two of the mounting pins will line up on the top but the bottom one doesn't. I just drilled a very tiny hole and zip tied it in place. You have to look hard to notice it but the profile of the ST cover is quite different from the MKll.

okay thanks...arai said the right would work from an st...the ones i see on e-bay are bumped in profile ,so i think i get what your saying.......where can i get an aftermarket MK11 right cover...anyone???

the st fender i have may not be the same ...the one on theres ok but has the little scrape mark they get from small front slides....

i will check the frame and engine numbers and go into some research...thanks guys....


i did see seat covers from suppliers listed as MK11...we'll see...i need to try and start a tie in with a local upholstery person anyway.........

a link to where to get right sidecover for MK11 would be great though!!!!

p.s i just used an old rag and some mothers on the still dust covered clutch...for just one wipe and polish swipe...it is gonna be a good bike soon....

I have an ST and they are wired ducks!! I suggest going to kawasaki.com/DefaultFrame.aspx?strConten.../VICHOOSEVEHICLE.ASP Then select your bike ans look at the parts diagram and compare part #'s for the parts from your bike vs the ST.

well the cover arrived and even has the emblem....gonna go black gold like eddies early racer MK11....

building a cycle bench today...may get the bike on there by p.m and pull the carbs....looking for a can for the kerker...

i have a V&H chrome street standard pipe..brand new and may use it for now.....seat cover on the way too...

got a brad new set off tarozzi ,italian, aluminum rearsets sitting in a drawer, because i never went to a disk rear on the 900...looked at the hole pattern -held em next to MK11 pegs/fame,huston we have lift off....set backs are really nice material/finish...we'll see....

does anyone know if "ATK" still makes fork braces??

they have the look i want to match...going with gold and silver aluminum finishes for the MKII and want an aluminum fork brace...the tarozzi braces may not work with chrome fenders.....


the below picture shows the tribute colors and mods-sticker/placement i will be trying for on my MKII

About the only fork braces you will find for these older bikes are "Tarozzi"
