I'm just thinking out loud here Will, but.
would it make sence to make the fork holes in the tree's ,a max diameter that would fit a larger ,popular fork leg, and have an optional sleeve to bush it down , to fit another fork model with a smaller od??? some of the forks are even stepped, haveing 2 dif diameters for each tree.
Or maybe u make them all with a smaller hole and then drill out to size to fit the order?
I'm just wondering if u could have a 1 size fits all sort of tree to mass produce?:S

That for sure would be the ultimate ...a one size fits all tree....
I just don't think theres enough hours in the day....LOL...the reason I choose to use the gsxr stuff is because I have used it before, they are more abundant than anything else, which makes them afordable...I bought an '07 ,complete set up, wheels ,swing-arm ,shock ,forks ,trees, brakes, front and back , clip-ons ,and controls for around 1000.00 dollars....not all from the same guy...but all on ebay.
I have purchased many sets over the years...all well priced.
also if something goes wrong ou can find parts for them ...cheap.

Also I think if you want to use a different set up its pretty easy to get a stem made...and use the trees that came with the frontend you have.
Maybe in the future we could do something like that but for now I am going to get one set up complete ....and expand from there...its just me and one other guy...and we both have day jobs... LOL...and wives ....so unless I want to make the shop my permanent home...I have to be a little cautious!!

will,i searched around a little bit for some pricing what i came up with is this link for busa upper tripple's.here is the link
www.mpsracing.com/products/Spencer/TripleTree.asp
have you seen the tripple trees that kano(kzrider member)had built for his elr?they are very nice and use the busa legs and had the bar clamp milled out and said elr(i think)and kano said that he paid $350.00 i'm pretty sure(i will double check).i think $350.00 sounded very affordable:laugh: (cheap)i would wince at $450.00 but still buy some.this is just what i've found and what i think(i could be a tight a$$ )hope this helps.

Those tree's are sweet!

We have completed the top and are working on the bottom tree...
I also fabbed the upper/lower shock mounts today.
I just tacked them in place to make sure they are going to work....I'll take them off to make a jig so that I can replicate them.
I'll post some pics as soon as my partner gets back....he took the camera to vegas...so Un less I sweet talk Penelope...no pics for a week.:(
