ah well, maybe next winter, but you definitely need to come up with a price for that bearing support, i need one of those bad, for a kz650 though, crap, i just realized that the 1000 one would probably not work on my bike.

that bike is already cool and now i see the headlight mounts and i really started to drool i must find the same frontend, i must there is no stopping me.

wow, i would really like to get my hands on one of those bearing supports. BTW, that frontend is AMAZING!!! I love it, absolutely beautiful.

I have been searchinf for an 8 inch headlight, which GS exactly uses the 8 inch?

this is a stock z1 headlight....believe it or not

not to beat a dead horse......but way nice bike brotha.....

The Gs1100E/ES(?) are the only two models with a 8" headlight that I know of. The ES has a half fairing so there is not bucket for the headlight. If you want a bucket you'll have to find one from a Gs1100E. Oh and unless you get lucky plan on spending between $60-100 for a 8" Gs setup.

The 1982 Yamaha 650 Seca used an 8in headlight. I owned one of those bikes in the mid 80's. Super nice bright light.

But they are few and far between. I bought one on e-bay, the seller sends me a 7 inch. Not happy I was. Thanks for the info.

Yep. That's what a stock headlight looks like when it's mounted in the right place (right, meaning the place it should be mounted).

BTW: Suzuki GS headlights: 8"ers were the 82-83 GS1100E model only (ES was the faired model which was square, and available in '83 only); and the GS1150ES (big honkin' round headlight in the fairing, the E was the un-faired, square headlight model...(the exact opposite order of the 1100 models). Just a little Zuke trivia...got an 1150 in the garage :dry:
