I just finnished modding my zx6 fender. i carved out the sides to make it a little more old school and added 3 inches to the back so it would stop more dirt from hitting my motor. Thanks to Otto for the glassing tips.

Thinking about welding new shock mounts in order to lower the rear. Maybe I'll leave it up there. It is nice to have suspesion that moves when you sit on the bike. Can't wait to ride it.

I felt the same way. i moved the rear mont back with a temporary shock mount untill i deside exactly were i wont it. i think it will handel even better up high. i havent tried it all the way up like yours as yet though. It must be ok since most guys have them up like that, and the front even lower, with shorter forks.

Hey that duplicolor looks good!
Yeah the rear is at least 2 and 1/2 inches higher. Looks wild up there. I will have to put the header back on and see what I have.Lower is more stable in my mind.
A steering stablizer is needed, and tank clearance.

Tank clearance??
I just made new steering stops. All is good. OMR moved his tank back.

Stablizer.
I think it would be a good addition just in case u leave to rear end up high. since i have my rear lowered, i've been fine without it. I would like to add 1 though.

waitin on the cash to expose itself can be very frustrating.
you have to remember tho,you have been making progress, and your not backin up.
you might not be gettin ahead as fast as you want(hell who does :P )but you are gettin ahead.really you have made some pretty good progress so far.it takes quite a bit of that mental engineering as well.hang in there and keep us posted.
