All back together with some new tires. Feels much better having a crown on the rear again.
Bridgestone were old and rear was plugged. Michelin's feel good so far, was lucky to find this set.
Brakes were serviced. Rear caliper sliders dry, greased up. All is well.
Now I can get back to the ZRX.

RS34 puked last restart. Just finished a fork refresh, installed new clutch plates and oil change.
So figured it's time for a rebuild of the BS34 and RS34.
Looking for the size of the unobtanium PN 92055-510 so I can source them by size and material. One of the members posted having them but being in Sweden and not knowing how often he visits may take a bit. Have the internal o rings and base gaskets on order from Partzilla.
Sudco just sold me the RS34 rebuild kit that includes the crossover o rings. I will be able to proceed with those first.
Shame cause the BS are blown apart already.

Well the continuing saga here.
RS34 clean up is complete. Setup is tamer with some adjustments to the accelerator pump. It was coming on a bit too soon for the jetting. Will be making some more micro adjustments once I take care of the driveline...
The initial goal for this bike was to be modernized. 17” rims, wider tires updated suspension bla bla bla... then life took over.
output sprocket was setup to be flipped in the future and supported by a carrier bearing. None of this is going to happen.
Due to the fact the kz and zephyr have different length output shafts it’s going g to take some measuring to get the back space right.
Found a 530 chain makes it more fun. Located a new flat 16t front sprocket and it should fit the bill. Likely need to have a spacer to clear the splines when the chain is aligned.
Keeping it running is the goal at the moment. So now this is my challange... link the go shaft to the ground!
bs34 Carb rebuild can start now thanks to anders. This will tame the beast in town some.

Have been riding a little this summer and working mostly on other projects.
Front gear working.
Finally, by the hands of Motolab and my internet luck finally put the BS34 back on the bike,
Fuel feed bits were perfect with his spec orings. JBM Industries diaphragms seem to fit well.
Float level test in the am.
No leak I'm hitting the starter..

Well got the carbs to hold gas and can't start it. Starter clutch is just done.
Looks like I can get it replaced without splitting the case... But still a lot of work.
May need to shelve this till I get the ZRX done.

NAHHH. Just get a ZR-7 starter clutch and swap that in. Sure you gotta rip both side covers off the engine and take off the clutch and oil pump to get to it.Drain the oil first. Maybe pan and clutch cover gaskets too. Details, details.....
