1983 KZ750 Project. 3yrs but nearing the end! With pics this time.

I started this project about 3 years ago and am finally nearing the end. I bought this bike from a dirt drag champion in our area and started to transform it into what I have wanted to make for a long time. I love the vintage bikes and especially the KZ's but also I am a sport bike fan, but the newer sport bikes have gotten to crazy looking for me so I started this. 1983 KZ750L3, 810 bore, Jetted, Pods and Kerker no baffle. Very Loud and fast. Had dirt tires when I bought it and was Very Dirty! I had bought new tires and a lot of other things at this point which have all been removed as I changed my mind on the design.

This is after the frame setup was completed. It has a ZX-11 front end and a ZRX1100 rear end with some pretty cool rear sets (these were hard to find for me).

None of the Pipes I could find would fit this now because the rear swing arm was to wide and would hit so I had to have this extension made. I have a Muzzy from a ZX-9 that fits and sounds great along with new guages, lights, signals and very cool fly screen that will be added after its stripped and painted. I should be starting the paint within a couple weeks and hopefully riding in August sometime.

What sprocket/chain setup are you using? What size tire are you running?

Wholly crap, look at the size of the front break rotor! :woohoo:
Sweet...
I think it safe to say everyone here is interested in the chain, counter sprocket (size and width), rear sprocket and rear tire size you ended up with.
Grinding with shorts!!! You're a brave man....
