1983 KZ750 Project. 3yrs but nearing the end! With pics this time.

I really like the stance, that is one sick project.

Well I have been doing a lot of work trying to get to paint but unfortunately failing. There is just so much to do. I secured the seat and am pretty happy with it for now, I may get a pro to do it later with real leather. I have been doing a lot of "fabricating" (If you can call what I do that?) trying to get whats in my head done on the bike. I'm happy with how the rear brake & turn signals turned out. I started the bike today with the pipe on and am extremely happy with the growl:woohoo: ! Its very deep and loud. Here's all the recent pics, Let me know how you like it.

I think I am going to place my gauge in the middle but have not made the bracket yet. The gauge is really cool, its only 2 inches and has the speedo, tach and all signal lights and lights up in LED Blue. The bar end mirrors are only 2 inches as well.

I think the pipe came out nice. I may make a better bracket but its fine for now.

My Rear Fender

This may look easy to make but it actually took a lot of time. The two middle are Red and the ends are amber.

Well, its been a long time since I've posted or worked on my bike. This will most definately be a 4 year project:( . My wife Started school again so I am working full time and watching our two little girls the rest of the time. Also, the garage that I use is owned by my friend who in Sept had a Quadrupale Bypass (he is doing well). No time and No garage = My Sobb Story! I am keeping a good outlook though. I will have the bike done and on the road by the end of April 09! This is what I tell myself to keep the spirits high. I also need to finish so I can start my other bikes. I have a 76KZ 750 twin and a 81 Yam 650 special one of which will be turned into a street tracker project and I am picking up a old Benelli 650 (barn find) for a cafe racer project. I know I am not alone in not being able to finish one project but still gaining many more. Maybe thats something you learn not to do with age? anyone want to comment on that:lol: ? I'll update again as soon as I can get some real work in on the bike.
