no not really mate.

you want a fat rear Tyre?
your need and wider rear wheel.

want a wide rear wheel?
your need a wider swing arm.

want a wide swing arm?
your need a offset sprocket.

want a offset sprocket?
your need a full sprocket and chain conversion.

want a full chain and sprocket conversion?
be prepared to line up your front and rear sprockets and center your rear wheel.

watch out for chain rubbing on frame when making all your calculations or your need to grind a little off the welds around the web of the frame.

then wheels will be different front and back.
so your want to do the front end too.

once you have done all this your wish you hadn't wanted a fat rear Tyre!:woohoo:

yeah im still alive.

bike blew over in a storm, gas and oil everywhere!
only bent a lever though guess i was lucky there but it bummed me out big time.

as it snowed every other week for most of the winter i decided to console my self and work on a modification for a game i play battlefield 2.
we are about to release it to the public so ill be ready to pick up where i left off,

need to grind some clearance for the chain less than a 1/16 but rubbing is bad news, then check levels of oil and gas clean carbs again becouse cheap gas sitting for 3 mths of the winter has sure to have messed up my carbs again.

then its riding time fellow brothers.
after i renew my learners permit lol.

Your bike looks great Kano. Sorry to hear about it falling over. I guess u got luck ther. No major damage.
I noticed that u have a front stand that goes under the steering stem. Did it come like that , or did u modify it. in the pic it looks to be a 2 piece stand?

wife bought it for me last Christmas.

i wanted one that slides into the stem as apposed to the other kind that grabs the bottom of the fork legs.
its a little short need to make 2 taller flat plates for the pivot so front wheel is off the ground.

i didnt know they were available like that. i jst have the bottom 1. i would like to get 1 like yours, so i can pull the forks, for a fork oil change.
maybe i can get an add on made up?
Thanks.

so its been a while since i posted anything here,
as you saw my kz1000j is finished.
so i started this week piecing together the z1000r yes
it starting all over again.

to summarize i got more than a little carried away on the z1000r last time so i bought a j frame off joce,
moved it all across to that frame and im going for a stock z1000r (kz1000r2).

now it ain't pretty guys and the seat and shocks are on there temporary until the real items can be located.

however from all the parts i had left over and a bunch of parts from members over at my site i allmost have a whole bike well kinda
