Thats an excellent idea. How do you plan on making it into a breather. I have a similar setup and didn't want to just run the hose out onto the the ground as I couldn't think of a way to route the hose outside of the tire. I already have a hole cut into the front of the brace to make clearance for the shock I installed. And to bring a purpose to that hole would be great.

well there are 2 holes in the very top of the box already for venting,
and thought of a simple plumbers drain valve on the underside for drainage.

Heck I don't know about yours but mine has two holes at the rear by the chain adjusters at the bottom that are drains. the brace and the "legs" are connected. so really no need for a drain valve. I'm thinking about shoving foam into the hole I have created to prevent my swingarm from becoming waterlogged during a rainstorm.

yeah i must be crazy.
but i havn't had any work for weeks now so what am i going to do lol.
anyway got front end swapped over today.
ill do the wiring tomorrow,
throw in the motor Wednesday,
have to replace oil seals around sprocket and clutch push rod, and replace oil level window too as it got sandblasted.
then i need to find a job month late with the rent and Christmas is coming....
