kano, it's hard to tell how bright the new light is in the pic. is it a lot better or just a bit??
Was it worth the money for the upgrade?? i've been thinking of 1 for my bike.

just picked up a complete 02 gsx1000r rear end and a pair of wheels including new bridge-stone's 180 rear 120 front both 17".
the thing is i know ill need a offset sprocket, but the suzi uses 530 rear sprocket and my bike uses 630 so whats best?
gsx 630 rear sprocket if available, :S
530 offset sprocket not sure yet on the offset.
front wheel went straight in the busa forks.
so no problems there.

U can get a 1/2" offset 530 front sprocket from Klasmo or PMF. or a 630 from Pringle.
it doesnt matter. the 530 is lighter, but the 530 and 630 are the same width.
u can search at Sprocket Specialist to see if there is a rear 630.

well after looking around there are no pre-made 630 rear sprockets available for the 02 gsxr1000 so im gonna stick with the 530 43 it came with.
Leon has offered to wizz me off a front offset sprocket,
hopefully 530 15 off set yet to be finalized yet.
new rear wheel bearings arrived today! :woohoo:
swing arm should get here Monday.

i just used Converting from 630 to 530 chain guide over at z1enterprises.com
www.z1enterprises.com/reference/chain630to530.aspx
conversion in teeth is divide the 630 sprocket teeth count
by 5 and multiply by 6.
630 15 tooth front becomes a 530 18 tooth sprocket.
630 41 tooth rear becomes a 530 49 tooth sprocket.
98 link rear chain becomes 117.6 links (rounded to 118.0).
using the gear ratio guide over at jt sprockets i was able to work
out what front size i would need to get a similar ratio while
using the 43 rear sprocket that came with the wheel.
www.jtsprockets.com/fileadmin/files/jtgearratio.pdf
gear ratio for 18 front 49 rear is 2.72
gear ratio for 15 front 43 rear is 2.87
close enough ratio?
math isn't my strong point.
this seem right?
i have a old 15 tooth sprocket for leon to turn into a offset sprocket.
