I bought wheel bearings from these folks; they have more diffrent bearing than you can imagine. They will cross reference if need be.

my buddy took my motor off island friday to have the exhaust stud holes welded up and re tapped,

funny thing was he was riding a russian motorcycle with a side car,
he had it resting in the side car all the way to meet his brother lol,
just to make things worse he was wearing a german helmet,
wish i had a pic lol.
good news arrived ok and once welding is done his brother is gonna blast the motor too.

be back on island a week max!

plus just won this one e-bay,
have no info other than it came off a kz1000j.

:blush: only a bit,there buddy.when i was trying to decide how to build mine i looked for every picture of an underbraced swingarm i could find and did not find much.in the year since i have now collected several different interpretations.
i think they all represent someones vision and are cool because of that.i like the fact that people get some crazy assed idea and build it,thats what i did.then when you start seeing similar ideas that we're built or are being built it makes me want to meet the fellows who dreamed it up and built it.just imagine if you could get all us kook's in the same shop what kinda crazy things we could do.at least we get to connect over the internet,and if we stay at it long enough we may get to meet some of the other forward thinkers(kook's)along the way:P .
i am glad we have kzrider to bring us together to share our idea's and projects.if not for kz rider i would have never thought that i would want to visit martha's vineyard to meet some "crazy limey bastard"(no offense meant) :evil:or norway(roynor) or canada(mark1122)aw hell,or nebraska(plummen) okay you all get the picture:P .
kano,love the swingarm and the fairing is the best looking dual headlight fairing i have seen.

i still havn't got the German swinger yet,
or my Canadian kz1000j frame for my next project!

right now my bike has a Metmachex on it,
ill check the eye to eye next time im in the garage,

just got my motor back from the welder, he did a awesome job
you cant even tell it was welded!

my buddies brother who organized getting it off island and welded,
also jet washed the motor and blasted all the old paint off too.
apparently i earned it by feeding his brother countless time's

congrats on the safe return of your motor kano.
did the german helmeted ural driver deliver it back to ya?hope your swingarm and frame show soon.

came back to the island on a hand cart i beleave
i think the Russian sidecar scared him
it would me too,

gives me a chuckle every time he rides up to the job,
as our current client is a German lady and im sure if she saw him riding in a German helmet she wouldn't be amused
