well after a long chat with fellow limey jeff at z1 im selling the dyna 4000 stuff and gonna order a dyna 2000.

he said and i quote lol "Are you going to put this setup on a drag bike? It's not a setup you would typically run on the street."

it was at this point i started to question my purchase lol,
mainly because i know he ran a turbo kz on the road and that's ok :ohmy: but a dyna 4000 on the road big nono. :blush:

he also said "It's not a great system for the street. The Dyna 2000 is the street system.

The 4000 is a pure race ignition - it creates a very powerful spark, but the ignition lacks the ability of an advance curve. The low-end performance is rough due to the lack of advance.

On the box should be the version - DP-4000-1 is the most likely version.
The DP-4000-2 and 2S are for dual plug setups. The DP400-1S is a more advanced version of the 4000 - for some serious sparks..."

You wont be disapointed. I think it is the best way to go. no more mechanical advance,built in rev limiter,built in timming light,you can run the grey 2.2 ohm coils for more zap, and no more points.

fixed the camera.
mounted the zrx brake disk and caliper,
installed the dyna 2000,

kano is that dyna 4000 the older pro version or the super pro version. because i'm kind of in the market for a spare ignition. for my big bike. is it complete as well plate coils and box.
