i will try to get a knee down next time for sure. That was crash #2 for the cbr. i think i have the fairing glassed up enough for another go. I hope i dont drop it next. lol
I would rather drop the cbr than my beloved KZ though.
It's amazing how much more clearance the new bikes have, this is a good reason to use the longest forks u can, in a conversion project. the gullwing trees are a great idea for these old girls.

It's funny how long it can take to gaing the trust in your bike to get a knee down, and then how fast you lose the trust when you manage to get your elbow down. And your shoulder, and your head....
LOL:laugh: that is so true. i would go faster each lap, until the crash bars would hit. then i'd back off, then i would go faster till they hit again. then i almost lost it.i just cant be satisfied going around and around.
i just ordered higher pegs for the cbr. maybe i should just keep the lower 1's on so i dont get too stupid.
NOT.:woohoo:

Naw, that's the whole point of having a track bike. Do all of the stupid stuff on the little Honda. Zip ties can hold broken fairings together quite well. One zx-10r.net member dumped his orange bike, and used those green zip ties through evenly spaced holes on either side of the cracks. It actually looked kind of sinister and cool. Sort of a moto-frankenstien.

Soooo, i took matters into my own hands.
i bought 2 gel pads and routed a hole into the seat foam. then i just cut the gel to fit and presto. Simple really.
