I'm with Docto, either a high gloss black (black chrome?) or a dark gloss carbon

I am digging the black-carbon-black chrome thinking......The engine cases, cylinder and head will be satin black, with the covers all being high gloss black, except for the "D" shaped camp plugs which will be gold. I am still thinking about the Metallic Emerald that I will be PC'ing the carb bodies to match the base paint color. Hmmmm......

Would also consider Gun-Kote as a possible alternative to powder coat.

Good Fortune! :)

Been looking at colors and thinking:

Emerald Metallic with Gold Lettering

Gloss Black with Gold Lettering

Rootbeer Metallic with Black Lettering

I have these on my car so I tend to be biased toward gold with red lettering...

I like the gold (obviously looking at my color scheme!) but with the rotor center and hub are also that color, I want some contrast by bringing in another color already on the bike, but the opposite of the color spectrum.

The red on my calipers is the only red on the entire car except for the intake manifold and positive battery terminal cover which are both hidden by the hood.

What about gold calipers but strip/polish the letters? That might tie in nicely.

Just a small update due to deer hunting opener this weekend.... Got my centering collar drilled, countersunk, and double row sealed bearing pressed into place for further mockup. Looks like I'll need a 0.986" spacer for the axle on the left hand side of the wheel.

However, it looks like there is NO way I can get around it, I am going to have to notch the frame just as the Sanctuary does. Oh well.......
