Looks good either way, but I personally think it's a bit busy and that it's cleaner without pintripes on the fender

I agree with Tusch.......I personally would omit the fender stripe (the fender is really cool btw).......I would also look at omitting the stripe that follows the rear of the seat on the tail piece and have the stripes that run around it fade into the seat bottom edge. I think the verticals chop up the flow of what is a very beautiful bike. My 0.02

Good call. I was doing the vertical stripe because it needed visual balance with the tank. I changed up the stripe to compliment the lines more but retain the visual balance. pics soon.

The paint turned out pretty good. there are a few blemishes here and there that you will only notice if you really scrutinize the paint, but I'm OK with it. There is some weird stuff going on with the clear around the stripes so I'm going to do a light sand to knock back the high spots and then another coat of clear before I buff it out.

Looks good to me. B) I was telling my brother about the paint job on my tank in 13. I complained about a speck in the paint. He said it wouldn't be noticed but it probably looks like a B 17 to me. Got a good laugh out of that one.

I really love that colour combination Vic.....Very nice modification to the stripes on the front fender too.....the whole lot looks great, looking froward to seeing the "tins" on the bike. I must compliment you on the huge amount of design/fab work you did on those side panels, they turned out very sweet and very professional looking......now fire that sweetheart up and go for a blast on one of these fine autumn mornings we have in Seattle !!!!!
